There’s a lot of buzz lately about Palm’s future and how some analysts valued Palm’s stock at $0 the other day. People say Palm may get bought out, some say they’re die out.

Now comes word via the Wall St. Journal that “those familiar with Palm’s situation” say that Palm is developing a brand new phone for later this year. This news shouldn’t come as a big surprise, but it’s the first somewhat official confirmation we’ve seen regarding a new webOS device. Given the events of the last 24 hours, this certainly comes as encouraging news.

Preview of the upcoming Grooveshark app for webOS. The app is in beta for Grooveshark VIP members, and should be out very shortly for all users.

Grooveshark Launches Mobile App For Palm webOS Platform

Grooveshark is an internet radio site that offers the ability to stream your own music library through any computer. Although the library upload seems a little buggy right now, I really think Grooveshark has some potential. I will be definitely looking forward to the release of this app.

According to him, T-Mobile is in “final stages” of planning out their webOS device launch with Palm. Apparently the first device we’re looking at seeing is a Palm Pixi-like handset, but we don’t have much more to report on besides that.
